When you apply to a show using ZAPP®, at one point you are given an opportunity to rearrange your chosen portfolio images for optimal symmetry and visual flow; however, certain web browsers with "hard" caches (such as Safari & Firefox) will not permit this. To be sure you will be able to arrange your images, use Internet Explorer when actually applying to shows through ZAPP®.
Here are five jury shots and a booth image, made for the ZAPP® portfolio of Angelika Brennecke and carefully arranged for pleasing overall symmetry and balance:
Here's another example of a nice uniform group of images made for the ZAPP® portfolio of Lynne Meade in which the images are carefully arranged for optimal visual balance:
Note that the square tile image is so different from the other shots that its squareness and lack of black borders are not problematic. Clearly, also, it works best in the bottom center position.
